Project Coordinator

The University of Kent (UK)

The University of Kent has carried out a number of studies in the field of drug treatment and crime prevention in Europe. The most recent are the QCT Europe project (a six-country evaluation of quasi-compulsory treatment of drug dependent offenders) and reviews of best practice in preventing juvenile and violent crime, carried out on behalf of the European Union Crime Prevention Network.

Project Steering Committee

Project progress and achievements are monitored by a Project Steering Committee, which will provide strategic guidance and ensure complementarity of actions and priorities between the CONNECTIONS project and the work plans and goals of its partners and funders. The Steering Committee members include organisations such as the EMCDDA, the WHO Health in Prison Project, HEUNI, the Pompidou Group of the Council of Europe, RapT (UK) and Phoenix Futures (UK).
